TTG Systems Incorporated, the leading provider of competency management solutions, today announced that they have submitted a patent application for their revolutionary procedure development process, SpeakDOC. SpeakDOC® is a process where TTG teaches an organization’s best practice employees to verbally record their procedures onto a digital recorder. SpeakDOC drastically reduces an organization’s procedure development time and keeps employees in the field.
After 30+ years of experience in operational training consulting, TTG found that their clients needed a quick and efficient way to streamline their procedure development in such a way that employee’s lost time is minimized. TTG created SpeakDOC®, a rapid procedure development process that includes a client needs assessment, SpeakDOC® verbalization training and procedure capture techniques, onsite field coordination, transcription and validation services and a procedure maintenance plan. Once employees complete the recordings of their standard operating procedures, TTG then transcribes the voice recordings and enters the steps into an OSHA-compliant (and company-approved) procedure template. The procedures are then uploaded into TRACCESS™ FIND, TTG’s online search index, for validation by supervisors, subject matter experts, operators or peers.
