Timothy McMahon

DR. TIMOTHY MCMAHON is a petroleum exploration geoscientist with over 25 years in the oil and gas industry, including 10 years with ConocoPhillips. He has worked on projects in Malaysia, Deepwater GOM, Norway, the UK, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, California, China, and Ecuador. He is the founder and principal geoscientist of Cutlass Exploration, LLC doing conventional exploration in South-Central Texas and providing geoscience consulting. He received a BA in Geology from Rutgers University, an MS in Geology from New Mexico State University, and a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin.
